Ronin turned 6 last week! We celebrated on Thursday with a few of his friends at our house. They had a great time and I got to meet two of his new friends and their moms.

Sean, Jacob, Joey and Ronin
For one game we played "make a mummy" and they were given a role of toilet paper to decorate their partner with... this was amusing, noisy and messy...

The cake - it had cream cheese frosting which was kind of slippery to work with.

On Friday I took the boys to Joes Crab Shack for Ronins birthday dinner before dropping them off in Gresham. Ronin got a "shark bite" drink and lots of shrimp... he was waiting for them to sing to him, but apparently they don't sing happy birthday to people there, they just line-dance to the "car wash" song, which was extremely dissapointing to me and Ronin, but Quinn got up and danced to the car wash song, so it wasn't a lose all around.

Over the weekend I saw the movie "Stalingrad" in 3D... It was pretty good, I'm not entirely sure why it had to be in 3D though... Tonight we are going to Toys-R-Us to spend Ronin's birthday money from Nana and Papa. THAT should be a lot of fun... ha ha ha (uncomfortable laughter)...Only 2 more weekends before I get another weekend with my little monsters :)
Lots of love,
C
